Hasselback Apple and Brie Charcuterie Bake

This Hasselback Apple and Brie Charcuterie Bake is a stunning and savory appetizer, ideal for entertaining guests or serving at a festive gathering. The apples are sliced in a Hasselback style, stuffed with rich brie, and paired with a selection of savory charcuterie, creating a perfect balance of sweet, creamy, and salty flavors. Ingredients:

 

4 medium apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work well)

 

1/2 cup Brie cheese, sliced

 

1/4 cup prosciutto or any other charcuterie (like salami or ham), chopped

 

1/4 cup walnuts, chopped

 

1 tablespoon honey

 

1 tablespoon fresh thyme

 

1 tablespoon olive oil

 

Salt and pepper to taste

 

Instructions:

 

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cut the apples into Hasselback style slices, making sure not to cut all the way through, leaving the bottom intact.

Place the apples on a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.

Stuff each slit with a slice of Brie cheese and a small piece of charcuterie (prosciutto or your choice of meat).

Sprinkle the chopped walnuts and fresh thyme over the top of the apples.

Drizzle honey over the apples for a touch of sweetness.
