Sweet Balsamic Marinated Steak

Here’s a recipe for sweet balsamic-marinated steaks:

 

Ingredients

 

500 grams of steak (ribeye or strip loin)

1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

1/4 cup olive oil

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce (optional)

2 cloves garlic, crushed

1 teaspoon fresh thyme

Salt and black pepper

Method

 

In a bowl, mix the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, soy sauce (if using), garlic, and thyme.

Place the steaks in a plastic bag or bowl and add the marinade. Let them marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours or overnight.

Preheat the grill or skillet over high heat. Remove the steaks from the marinade and cook for 4-6 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.

Serve the steaks with a reduced balsamic sauce (you can reduce the balsamic vinegar over heat until it thickens).
